    PUBLIC NOTICE

     

    The Pequea Valley School Board welcomes the public to their School Board meetings. Please note that beginning in August 2021, Board meetings will continue to be streamed for viewing purposes only. Anyone wishing to address the Board during public comment will need to attend in-person. Regular meetings are held on the second Thursday of every month (except July) and committee meetings are held on the Tuesday of the week prior to the regular board meeting at 7:00 PM at the Pequea Valley District Office, 166 S. New Holland Road, Kinzers, PA. Instructions to connect to this meeting are available below.  If an individual would need accommodations under the Americans with Disabilities Act, please contact the School Board’s Secretary at john_bowden@pequeavalley.org.

      Residents may submit comments in advance of the meeting via email to Vicki Hoover at vicki_hoover@pequeavalley.org or by phone at 717-768-5588.  Comments must include the name and address of the individual proposing the comment.  District residents, only, shall be permitted to comment, and the Board will limit comments to agenda items only.  Proposed comments must be received no later than 4:00 p.m. on the day of the meeting, and comments cannot include the names of students or staff members.  Public comment during the meeting, without submission in advance, may be considered but cannot be guaranteed due to the limitations caused by the meeting being conducted virtually.

    A recording of the meeting will be used to generate the meeting minutes, which will be approved by the Board at the following month’s business meeting.  The Board reserves the right to entertain any and all such matters which may be properly brought before them at the meeting.
