Register Your Child for the 2016/2017 School Year

  • Registration is also open for 2017-2018 KINDERGARTEN. Please select that option at registration log in.

School year 17/18 for grades 1 through 12 will be open June 3, 2017.

(KINDERGARTEN NOTE: A child is eligible for admission to kindergarten in the 17-18 school year if s/he is five (5) years old by September 1, 2017, required proofs of age, residency and immunizations as outlined on the "How to Register" page have been provided, and registration forms have been signed by parent/guardian in the presence of a designated Pequea Valley registrar.)

Registrations are by appointment only after fulfilling the online requirement.

We encourage you to read the instructions below carefully before completing the registration online. When you are ready to begin, use the "click here" link to start the process.

You will receive a phone call and your online submission will be reviewed and an appointment made. The appointment will need to be re-scheduled if proofs listed in the notes below are not available by the appointment date and time. This includes the faxing of immunizations records. If they are not received prior to the appointment time, please reschedule.

When you  click here  to start the registration process, you will first have to CREATE A NEW ACCOUNT. Follow the prompts. When finished, please check your email for a notification from Sapphire. Click on the link in the email and the online registration will accept your user name and password and open up for you. IF YOUR STUDENT IS ENTERING KINDERGARTEN FOR THE BEGINNING OF THE 16-17 SCHOOL YEAR, MAKE SURE YOU SELECT THE KINDERGARTEN CHOICE. Fill in the information regarding your student. Click SUBMIT to release this information to Pequea Valley.
(Just a note as you start the registration for your child: Your child's name is the name you type on the first page after logging in, not your name.  Except for the Parent/Guardian page and Emergency Phone Number page, everything is about your child.)
Central Registration will call you to review the submitted data and to arrange an appointment to complete the process. Your child is not officially registered until all documents have been signed and all proofs delivered.
If you do not have internet access or a computer at home, you have other options. Because you do not need to print anything, you can use a computer at the library, a friend's computer or your phone. It's not as easy on a phone, but it can be done. You do need to have an email account to access in order for your user name and password to be validated and your registration account established.

Please remember that the following required documents are needed at the time of the registration appointment. Call and reschedule your appointment if you do not have all the proofs by the date and time of your appointment.

    Proof of Residency

A document required by the state to verify the parent/guardian's name and address within the district. This document can only be a tax receipt for the address you use as your primary residence, mortgage or a lease on which your name appears. If you are moving in with someone else and do not have a lease, a Multiple Occupancy form will be provided for you from the Registration Office and the person with whom you are moving in with will sign the form and provide their lease or tax receipt. A phone number for your landlord  will speed the validation process.
    Proof of Age
An original birth certificate or passport is acceptable documentation for proving age of your student.
    Immunization Record
If updated records of immunizations are not available, your doctor's office may be willing to fax this information to us at your request. The appropriate fax number to use is 717-768-8108.

Documents not required, but very helpful in the registration process:

Although the following will eventually be sent to Pequea Valley upon official request, information from your student's previous school, past academic records, report cards, IEP's, 504's, etc., are very helpful for a smooth, timely and correct transition.

Please be aware that the providing of a transcript and recent report card will be extremely helpful for students in 7-12th grade. Also helpful and appreciated is information regarding your student's Keystone testing in Algebra, Literature and Biology.

If you have any questions or experience any difficulties navigating the online process, please do not hesitate to call:
    Deb Weaver, Central Registration
    717-768-5510, extension 5258
The registration office is located within the Pequea Valley High School at 4033 E Newport Rd, Kinzers, PA 17535.
We look forward to educating your child!
