AdministrationPrincipal - Beth ReinhartWelcome to the Paradise Elementary School website.
We are happy you are visiting to learn more about our school. As I begin my year as principal, I must share that I could not be more proud of both the adults and students who make up our school team. We foster a culture of academic achievement, while also focusing on each child as “a whole”. We celebrate strengths and appreciate differences, as we work to help all students succeed. In January 2009, we combined our two smaller schools into one new school in Paradise.A theme has emerged as we have “settled in” to our new school as one larger family. The ideas were always a part of who we were, but they now seem to have become clearer.Respect for the World Around Us: Our school was designed and built in a manner that demonstrates our concern for the larger world around us. As we sort our recyclables, use only one paper towel, or make sure doors are not propped open when the air conditioning is on, we model our respect for the world around us. To learn more about our “green school”, follow the links on this page.Respect for Others: We have many visitors to our school. We are proud when we consistently hear from our visitors how well behaved our students are, how they smile and greet others, and what good manners they have. We show our respect for others and their feelings.Respect for Self: We moved and combined two schools into one during the middle of a school year. We taught in the midst of boxes, we learned even as we unpacked. Our staff chose to focus on the positive and keep students’ best interests at the center. Our students chose to give their best in their academics and their behavior. We show respect for self by giving our best. Our standardized test scores are just one example of this.
Respect for Self, Respect for Others, Respect for the World Around Us – that makes us PV and Paradise Proud! Beth Reinhart, Principal
