APPROVAL OF MINUTES:

On a motion by _____ and a second by _____, the Board approved the February 7, 2023, Committee Meeting minutes.          

CHIEF OF FINANCE AND OPERATION’S RECOMMENDATIONS:

On a motion by _____ and a second by _____, approval was given for the following Consent Agenda Items A-H. (rc)

A.  New School Board Policy #620, Fund Balance.

B.  BBD as Auditors for the fiscal years ending in 2023, 2024, and 2025 at a fee of $35,000 per year.

C.  Capital Reserve Items:

• Boiler for Salisbury Elementary School from HB McClure, at a cost of $28,440.
• Public address system (Carehawk System) for the high school from B&B Integrations, at a cost of $19,889.

D.  A contract with ESCO Security to provide cameras and a security system for the new middle/high school, in the amount of $239,883, to be paid out of the Construction Fund.

E.  A two-year agreement with Penn Medicine Health Works to provide an employee medical concierge program beginning April 1, 2023.

F.  A contract with Lampeter-Strasburg School District for two Pequea Valley learners to receive special education services in the life skills program, at a cost of $14,390 for student A and $16,690 for student B for the 2022-2023 school year.

G.   An agreement with The Meadows Psychiatric Center to provide educational services in the event that a learner is hospitalized at The Meadows, at a cost of $70 per day for the 2023- 2024 and 2024-2025 school years.

H.  Three-year contract with PTS Pediatric Therapeutic Services for the following services:

• 2023-2024 at the following rates: $73.99 per hour for Speech; $70.49 per hour for Occupational and Physical Therapy; $56.49 per hour for Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant
• 2024-2025 at the following rates: $74.99 per hour for Speech; $71.49 per hour for Occupational and Physical Therapy; $56.99 per hour for Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant
• 2025-2026 at the following rates: $75.99 per hour for Speech; $72.49 per hour for Occupational and Physical Therapy; $57.99 per hour for Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant

SUPERINTENDENT’S RECOMMENDATIONS:

A.  The Pequea Valley School District Calendar for the 2023-2024 school year.

B.  The Course Selection Guide for the 2023-2024 school year.
