APPROVAL OF MINUTES:
On a motion by _____ and a second by _____, the Board approved the November 7, 2023, Committee Meeting minutes. (rc)
CHIEF OF FINANCE AND OPERATIONS RECOMMENDATIONS:
On a motion by _____ and a second by _____, approval was given for the following Agenda Items A-D. (rc)
- Approval of a contract for dental consulting services with Union Community Care, at a cost of $80/hour for 2-½ days for dental exams for all schools in the district, effective November 15, 2023 through November 14, 2024.
- An two-year Agreement with Lancaster County Career and Technology Center to provide a Practical Nursing Program (the Student’s Training Program) whereby students of the LCCTC will receive practical/clinical educational experience at PVSD, at no cost, effective October 10, 2023 through October 10, 2025.
- A resolution to certify that the District will remain within the Act 1 inflation index for the 2024-2025 fiscal year.

Participation in the consortium purchase coordinated by Lancaster-Lebanon Intermediate Unite 13 for wide area network services for optical wave network transport services at a total cost of $33,433.97 over 60 months.
This new circuit will complete the ring in the southeast part of Lancaster County which will add resiliency for Lampeter-Strasburg, Lancaster Mennonite, Pequea Valley, and Solanco. This circuit, provided by FirstLight, will be a 10 Gbps optical wave service, connecting Solanco’s Bart-Colerain Elementary to Pequea Valley High School, with the traffic managed by IU13 using existing WAN equipment. The PV Technology budget will absorb this cost in our annual WAN invoice.
