LIAISON REPORTS
APPROVAL OF MINUTES:
On a motion by _____ and a second by _____, the Board approved the August 25, 2026, Committee Meeting minutes. (rc)
CHIEF OF FINANCE AND OPERATIONS’ AND SUPERINTENDENT RECOMMENDATIONS:
On a motion by _____ and a second by _____, approval was given for the following Consent Agenda Items A-F. (rc)
A. A contract with School District of Lancaster for special education services in a multiple disability classroom
for one student for the 2026-2027 school year, at a cost of $73,530.
B. A contract with Literati Book Fair to provide an elementary book fair for fall of 2027, for both Paradise and
Salisbury Elementary.
C. To approve an agreement with Second Life Mac for the buyback of out-of-warranty district laptops and
iPads and participation in a community device purchasing program.
Second Life Mac will pick up eligible out-of-warranty laptops and iPads for an estimated total buyback value
of $55,253, subject to final device count and condition. Following the buyback, the devices will become part of
Second Life Mac’s inventory of refurbished devices available for resale. The district will provide the PV community
with a discount code that may be used to purchase devices directly from Second Life Mac. All purchases
will be processed and shipped directly by Second Life Mac, and the district will receive 3% of sales made using
the PV discount code. Graduating seniors and staff members will continue to have the opportunity to purchase
their assigned device(s) before those devices are included in the buyback.
D. Bus drivers for 2026-2027.
E. Transportation schedules for 2026-2027.
Bus routes and stops are approved annually per state regulations.
