    CALL TO ORDER

    LIAISON REPORTS

    APPROVAL OF MINUTES:

    On a motion by _____ and a second by _____, the Board approved the January 3, 2019, Committee Meeting minutes.

    CHIEF OF FINANCE AND OPERATION’S RECOMMENDATIONS:

    On a motion by _____ and a second by _____, approval was given for the following Consent Agenda Items A-D. (rc)

    A.     To accept the Strasburg Railroad mini-grant in the amount of $2,000 for the 2018-2019 school year.

    The district receives this mini-grant annually to purchase school supplies.

    B.    Approval of an upaid intern, Katie Fritz, to assist the district's school psychologist, effective the first day of the 2019-2020 school year through the last day of the 2020-2021 school year.

    Katie Fritz will continue ot work as a school counselor at PVIS; this position is above and beyond that role and is voluntary.

    C.     A resolution to certify that the District will remain within the Act 1 inflation index for the 2019-2020 fiscal year.

    D.     To approve the following Capital Reserve item:

    • Field House Repairs.................................................................................... Not to exceed $8,000
    • PVIS, Replace 35 PVIS Roof Drains (Tecta America)...................................................... $33,250
    • PVIS, Softball Field Electircal Transformers & Service Upgrade (Baldwin Electric) ..... $22,914
    • Paradise, Air Handler Units (replace as they fail) (Ij Tech) ............................................$80,000
       

    SUPERINTENDENT’S RECOMMENDATIONS:

    On a motion by _____ and a second by _____, approval was given for the following Consent Agenda Items A-C. (rc)

    A.     For the district to continue using Lancaster Newspapers as its public newspaper of general circulation.

    B.     To enter into an independent contract with the following pit orchestra participants at a cost of $450 each, to be paid out of the proceeds from the 2018-2019 Spring Musical:
