    BOARD PRESENTATION – Autumn Alleman with PSBA will give an update and review services available to the Board.

    APPROVAL OF MINUTES:

    On a motion by _____ and a second by _____, the Board approved the April 6, 2021, Committee Meeting minutes.

    CHIEF OF FINANCE AND OPERATION’S RECOMMENDATIONS:

    On a motion by _____ and a second by _____, approval was given for the following Consent Agenda Items A-C. (rc)

    A.    Playground resurfacing at Paradise Elementary, awarded to Kreider & Sons, Inc., in the amount of $75,519 with a possible addition of $11,810 for sidewalk damage, to be paid out of Capital Reserve.

    B.    For Union Community Care (formerly Welsh Mountain Medical Center) to apply for a $200,000 grant for two years which may fund a health care site at Pequea Valley Intermediate School for all Pequea Valley learners.

    C.    For the sale of four-year-old and out of warranty technology at the following prices, for seniors and staff members:

    13” Dell laptops $200 plus tax
    15” Dell laptops $250 plus tax
    13” Macbook Air (seniors) $340 plus tax
    13” Macbook Air (staff) $400 plus tax
    15” Macbook Pro w/ Touchbar $885 plus tax
    15” Macbook Pro $500 plus tax
    iPad 2 $25 plus tax
    iPad 4th Generation $50 plus tax
    iPad Air 2 and iPad Pro 2nd Generation $150 plus tax
    iPad 5th Generation $175 plus tax

    SUPERINTENDENT’S RECOMMENDATIONS:

    On a motion by _____ and a second by _____, approval was given for the following Consent Agenda Items A-D. (rc)

    A.    The proposed 2021-2022 IU 13 Budget (Core Program of Services and IMS) totaling $3,155,325.

    B.    The Pequea Valley Agriculture Council to be a part of the Occupational Advisory Council (OAC) for a period of three years. The council is a group of business and industry members who advise and evaluate the agriculture program for changes to equipment, curriculum, and alignment to the industry.

    C.    An agreement with Lancaster-Lebanon Intermediate Unit 13 approving membership in the Special Education Legal Consortium at a cost of $1,087 for the term July 1, 2021, through June 30, 2022.
